LAUREN TRACY
Lauren Tracy is a fiber artist working in St. Louis, Missouri. A Savannah College of Art and Design graduate, Lauren has applied her craft in various forms including soft sculpture, wearables, home decor, and wall works. Dreams, mantras, and self-evolution are themes of interest explored through images, text, and material.
Lauren’s current body of work combines traditional silk painting and batik techniques, woodworking, and the experimental application of plaster as stuffing. The mixed-media assemblages present existential queries and playful reminders of humanness.
