B.N. BLITHE DE CARONA

B.N. Blithe de Carona (b. August 28, 1990, in St. Louis, MO) is a conceptual mixed-media artist working in themes pertaining to Black feminine identity, religious trauma & radical self-actualization.

She has performed and had her work exhibited since 2016 at various spaces throughout the US, including The Fellowship, Galeria Obscura, 2720, and Urb Arts Gallery in St. Louis, Missouri, as well as Ground Floor Gallery in Brooklyn, New York. She’s had collage work and poetry published in the magazine “For Pearl, With Love” and she’s performed poetry & performance art at Pulitzer Arts Foundation, The Fellowship, Bank Space, 2720, and The Ready Room in St. Louis, MO. Though mostly self-taught, B.N. Blithe de Carona studied sculpture at Truman State University as a Studio Art and Public & Political Communications double major with a focus on rhetorical education in America.

The artist currently lives and works in St. Louis, MO.
